Rehabilitation Center
Following illness or injury, patients often need continued rehabilitation services to maximize functional outcomes with the goal of returning to their prior level of function. The Rehabilitation Unit is a 30-bed acute care inpatient unit within University Community Hospital offering an interdisciplinary team approach. Patients are often admitted to this unit following illness or injury, when continued rehabilitation services are needed. The staff is highly trained to treat those patients who have had a stroke or other neurological diagnoses, fractures, trauma, amputations and other medical conditions.
