To ensure the safety of patients, visitors and employees, UCH–C operates a Safety and Security Department. To promote a safe and secure environment, highly trained, hospital-certified security officers who patrol the hospital and its parking areas 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week. Upon request, a security officer will escort any visitor or patient to their car after dark.
